I had been avoiding a certain bold move for years . . . obtaining my own motorcycle driver’s license.
I’ve been a great passenger for years.
And the reason I didn’t go for my own license was because I was scared.
So last month, I committed to taking a motorcycle class.
As the date for the course approached, my husband said “I know you’ve got a lot on your plate right now. Do you want to delay the class until later?“
And I said “no” because if I knew that if I didn’t do it now, I might just keep putting it off.
So I went to class.

Often we avoid making these bold moves because we think they’re going to be catastrophic.
That we can’t handle a bloody nose, or a skinned knee.
The reality is that we can!
So, I had a blast during the motorcycle class. I got scrapes, bruises, bloody knees, you name it!
And after all of that I realized that sometimes when you make bold moves you get banged up a little . . . and that’s okay because we’re not THAT fragile!
When we do, we get excited about how capable and tough we really are.

Here’s your maverick move for today:
Ask yourself “What’s the bold move that I need to make in my business or my life? What have I been putting off because I’m scared I’m going to fail or I’m going to get hurt?”
Then, do one thing today that’s going to force you to confront that fear.
Hugs! Deb
