The Law of Cause & Effect says everything you do creates a reaction or sets up a resulting consequence.
Ergo, your actions cause your successes. And most of those achievements require lots of repetitive, consistent actions. So success is more a journey than a destination — a process rather than a result.
Don’t let your goals get away. Apply these 5 fundamentals to your daily success process:
To show up requires a decision. Decide what you want and start with the first simple step. If you get to the gym you’re going to work out. If you open your word document and start typing, the novel will begin. If you pick up your car keys to go to the networking event, your business will grow. Dial the numbers, you’ll make the sales call. You get the idea.
Show up again and again with regular frequency. Not once a month. Not every other week. Daily. Keep doing those little things that are moving you toward your goal and pretty soon the bigger things will be, well, NO BIG DEAL.

The more you show up, the more you take those consistent actions, the more your momentum builds. Momentum is a force that adds ease, energy and speed to your success process. Ride the wave of momentum and you’ll feel increased confidence, stronger desire and even more determination to go for success you want.
Then, do one thing today that’s going to force you to confront that fear.
Everyone falls off the wagon. The trick is to get back on quickly. There will be times when it’s going to be tough, massively inconvenient. That’s reality; accept it. Don’t beat yourself up, just get up and get going again. Reconnect with why you want this goal. Then gather your energy and take that one simple step (grab the car keys, open the word document, make the call) that will bring momentum back to you.
Recognize and celebrate your progress along the way. And showing up consistently is progress. Celebrate each small achievement. Don’t wait until you’ve reached the final goal. Remember, success is a process. Not a destination. Once you’ve celebrated, set the next target. For example, if your goal is to increase your business by 10% celebrate each 1% gain.
Dare the Extraordinary!
